OLD FRIENDS NOW RIVALS PAWTUCKET, R. I., Nov. 10. George Conway, trainer of War Admiral, and Lou Feustel, who trained War Admirals daddy, Man o War, will cross swords in the Rhode Island Handicap on Saturday. Lou will send his charge, Great Union, out to beat Conways War Admiral and he makes no bones about telling George that the Admiral does not like the track, advising him to ship the colt back to Maryland before it is too late. After which suggestion Conway worked War Admiral a mile and a furlong in the mud in 1:56 before advising Lou to save his starting fee and ship Great Union back to the farm for the winter.
