DISTRIBUTE raced to the front soon after the start and, opening up a long lead when ready, made a show of his opposition to finish far in front and well in hand. BACHELORS BOWER ran his race and finished well, but was not good enough. TWO EDGED raced wide in the stretch, but closed some ground. CRAFTY FOX made a good move nearing the stretch turn, then tired a trifle. PROUD INDIAN was taken up when in close quarters rounding the first turn. HEROAKEL CONARD .dropped back when the real racing began. SHASTA RACKET was never a serious contender. - SEVENTH RACE 1 3-16 MILES. Seabiscuit, Dec. 12, 1936 1:55 3 114. EPITOME raced to the front early and, bearing out in the stretch to bother PARADUN, withstood a challenge from the latter and drew out nearing the finish. RECOATNA, never far from the pace, raced well from the start and saved ground in the stretch. PARADUN was bothered by the winner after entering the stretch, but clearly was not good enough to defeat the latter. CHIEF YEOMAN showed speed in spots and ran a peculiar race. MULLET turned in a weak effort, never being a contender. FENCE RIDER ducked to the inside soon after the start and was never a contender. BON HAMBURG was far back in the early stages and raced poorly. ENLO worked out an extra quarter after the finish. EIGHTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. Top Row, Dec. 8, 19341:423109. RICHLEIN was in close quarters rounding the first and far turns, but found an opening nearing the stretch turn to open up a good lead when straightened out for home and won easily. JUSTA SHEIK, a trailer early, came with a rush after leaving the back stretch and easily outfinished the others, but did not seriously threaten the winner.
