I EXTEND NARRAGANSETTS I J MEETING TO NOVEMBER 19 j PAWTUCKET, R. I., Nov. 10. The Rhode f Island Division of Horse Racing today r granted the application of the Narragansett j Racing Association for an extension of the current race meeting to Saturday, November ; 19. Chairman Francis Kiernan announced the extension of six racing days, which in- , elude two charity days. The net proceeds of Monday and Tuesday, November 14 and , 15, will be devoted to local charities. The association immediately made preparations , for the extension which resulted from a peti- tion filed with the association by a majority of the horsemen on the grounds. I It is believed that there will be plenty of J stables on the grounds to afford well filled races. L The unusually mild fall weather here has j encouraged the management to extend the meeting.
