FAIR GROUNDS STALLS FILLED LEXINGTON, Ky., Nov. 10. Dan B. Mid-kiff has been advised that the stalls reserved for his horses at New Orleans Fair Grounds will not be available to him because of over-allotment. Trainer J. P. Keezek advised Leo J. Marks that he had received a similar message from New Orleans, whereupon Marks wired manager Bob Eddy, whose reply was: "So sorry, but Mr. Leigh, by mistake, allotted more stalls than available." Fred J. Demary, of Houston, Texas, while here a few days ago, said that "It looks like I will have to build a stable if I race at New Orleans this winter. Have been advised that no stalls are to be had at the Fair Grounds." Midkiff said he would try to get stalls at Miami, but if they were not available he will lay up the horses during the winter. Leo Marks sent one string of eighteen, to California in charge of trainer Al Woodman and he may now send trainer Keezek to Havana with the second string.
