1940 OLYMPIC GAMES DATES NEW YORK, N. Y., Nov. 10. Dates for the twelfth Olympic games in Finland were revealed today when Finlands official invitation to the United States was received by the American Olympic Committee. Opening ceremonies will take place July 20, 1940, and the meet will end August 4.1
