1 PIMLICO TURF NOTES " $ 8 Trainer Tony Pelleted has arranged to ship the Millsdale Stables horses to Bowie for the thirteenrday meeting beginning November 16. Jockey Charlie Stevenson will accompany the stable. D. B. Midkiff shipped six horses and the stallions Balko and By Pass II. to Lexington, Ky., according to Dan Finn, representative of the Railway Express Company. Trainer Frank Kearns shipped Bull Lea, winner of the Pimlico Handicap, and four other horses to Lexington, Ky. Time Alone, winner of the Eastern Shore at Havre de Grace, was one of ten horses that F. A. Carreaud shipped from here to California. Abe Hallow departed for his winter home at Miami Beach, Fla. Thomas Hitchcocks Annibal, considered the best steeplechase horse in America, proved he was ready for his engagement in the ,000 Manly Memorial on Monday by reeling off a mile in 1:44 on the flat Thursday morning. Miss Hambla Bauer, one of Americas few women trainers, was an arrival from New York. There are twenty-one horses on the schooling list with the adding of Inactive and Jack Fly. Frank Garrett will winter the Howard Bruce and C. F. Hockley strings here. Garrett is making seven yearlings ready for 1939 racing.
