MAY PARADE FOR SEABISCUIT Howard Champion Expected on . Coast in About Ten Days Near Money Winning Honors. SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 10. Seabiscuit, the California-owned animal that recently became undisputed king of the American turf, will make his next start at Tanforan probably in the 0,000 San Francisco Handicap, to be run closing day, December 17. Word has been received from owner Charles S. Howard that Seabiscuit will be shipped west from Baltimore within the next ten days and his stall at Tanforan is being put in readiness. The return of the son of Hard Tack to the west will be the greatest event in the history of coast racing. It may be that a monster parade will be staged in his honor. At present Seabiscuit lacks about 6,000 of being the greatest money winning horse of all time. He should win the San Francisco Handicap and add to his earnings as the race is at his favorite distance of one and one-sixteenth miles. READY FOR OPENING. Meanwhile things are being whipped into shape for the opening of the Marchbank track Tuesday next. Nominations for the opening day handicap were made known Tuesday. They are Kumreigh, Masker, Dog-away, Pompa, Routine, Townsman, Laven-gro, Time Flight, High Vote, Brown Jade, Indian Town and Silver Sarah. The distance is six furlongs and weights will appear Saturday. Clockers report that the Tanforan racing strip is in good shape at present and that a great number of horses are working out there each morning. Racing secretary John Maluvius has been on the job for the past few weeks while other officials are either employed at or have been recent visitors at Bay Meadows.
