He will go to Gulfstream Park later, where he will officiate as steward. M. C. Keefe purchased the platers Halloo and Canimar from Q. Johnson for a consideration that was not divulged. Jockey Manny Berg, second in the list of riders, with eight victories at the meeting, plans to ply his trade at Gulfstream Park, Hollywood, Fla. T. C. Bradley, steward representing the West Virginia Racing Commission, departed for New Orleans immediately following the running of the final race at Charles Town. He will serve as steward at the Fair Grounds. Johnny Bowlen, assistant to Ralph McBain in the jockeys room here, hurried away to join his chief at Tropical Park. Patrol judge William J. Daly will vacation until the opening of Gulfstream Park, where he will occupy an official position. J. J. Graddy, steward at this point, departed for his home in Lexington, Ky.
