JOHNNY LOFTUS FATHER DIES Frank J. Loftus, father of ex-jockey Johnny Loftus, who is now training the stable of J. H. Louchheim, owner of Pompoon, died Saturday morning at Alexian Brothers Hospital. Mr. Loftus was 77 years old and in addition to John is survived by three other sons, David, Robert and Martin. Johnny Loftus, who just recently fired and turned Pompoon out for a rest at Three Cousins Farm, at Hyde, Maryland, was due to reach Chicago late Monday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning" from the chapel at 1158 N. Clark .St., with a requiem mass ;at 9 a. m. at Holy Name Cathedral, with interment in All Saints Cemeteiy.
