142 YEARLINGS NOMINATED MIAMI, Fla., Dec. 24. One hundred and forty-two yearlings have been nominated ,1 S two majr two-year-old stakes of the 1939 season. Racing secretary Charles J. McLennan announced that the Seminole for colts and geldings closed with sixty nominations. The Everglades, for fillies exclusively, attracted eighty-two youngsters. The Everglades will be run Saturday, February 11, and the Seminole, Wednesday, February 15. These events formerly were known as Nursery Stakes No. 1 and No. 2. The distance for each is three furlongs out of the chute.
