;i 1 SEAB1SCUT NOT LAME COLUMBIA, S. C, Dec. 24. Tom Smith, trainer of Seabiscuit, declad today that a report that the famed horse was lame was ridiculous. "Some reporter saw Seabiscuit with his usual exercise bandages on and drew the wrong conclusion," Smith said. Those who saw the thoroughbred work out today reported the horse galloped fairly hard on the wet, heavy track.
