ESPOSA ARRIVES AT ARCADIA TO TRAIN FOR BIG HANDICAP ARCADIA, Calif., Dec. 24.-Esposa ar-?l-v?r Arcadia Saturday morning. Trainer Matt Brady brought her and four head for the stable of William Zicgler of New York. The others, besides Esposa. are the good two-year-olds Our Matt, Blaze of Glory and Amcrosa. Esposa ranks today as third in the money winning list of American mares, being topped only by Ton Flight and Princess Doreen. The famous Ziegler color-M-Sr 1!as,carned the staggering sum of Z f 7? ln four 5ears of racing, having entered the winners circle some twenty times. Y?Kn two-year-old she won ,935; at three, ,50; at four, 0,690, and this last raeinjj-season 1,075. Esposa has at one time or another beaten most of the top horses of the country. In 1937 she nosed out Seabiscuit in the Bowie Handicap, setting a new-track record for the mile and five-eighths, going that distance in 2:45. She ran War Admiral to a nose last summer at Saratoga.-She won the Hawthorne Gold Cup last summer by three lengths. She will carry the Ziegler silks in the 00,000 Santa Anita Handicap.
