SEARCH FOR ESCAPED KILLER MANILA, P. I., Dec. 24. The combined forces of the entire Philippine army, constabulary police and the U. S. Navy shore patrol were ordered into an intensive search today for an escaped killer believed responsible for the murder of two mail clerks aboard a crack express train. Anselmo Balagtas, convicted slayer of William Gibbons, navy radioman became the object of the most dramatic search in this territory history after the clerks were discovered dead in the mail car. A shipment of 5,000 in gold bullion had been blasted from the registered mail safe. The double murder and robbery accomplished while the train was en route to Manila from Raguio was the most sensational in Philippine experience.
