STOTLER S BACK BADLY INJURED HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 24. After examination of the injuries of trainer J. H. Stotler of the Alfred G. Vanderbilt stable, who was injured in an automobile accident early Saturday morning on the Nice Highway while en route to Havre de Grace, they were reported to be much more serious than first reported. It was learned that Stotler will be confined to the Maryland General Hospital for almost eight weeks due to suffering a broken vertebra in -his back and having two others crushed. Stotler has been placed in a cast, which will likely be kept on for the eight weeks of his confinement.
