BANKRUPT improved his position when settled in the stretch, finished fast and wore down RURALES in the final drive. The latter, a prominent factor all the way, had no mishaps. FORTRESS, from a slow start, worked his way up on the outside and finished well. EXEMPTION lacked early speed and finished fast. WATER PEARL had early speed and then quit. SURE FOOTED could not keep up on the inside. AIKEN had a flash of early speed LUZON was never r.gerous. GALAPROX had no mishaps. PLANTAGENET raced close to the early pace under steady restraint and moved into command when urged, drew away and was under hand urging in the late stages. CHICKORE was slow to settle into his stride, improved his position on the inside and finished well. CROSSTIDE was outrun to the stretch turn and then finished with a rush. RAPIDAMINTE was sent up fast on the inside going to the stretch turn and then hung at the end. RODIMIC raced well and had no mishaps. GAY CHIC was never dangerous. KINGS FEAST had no mishaps. KINQ TORCH was on the outside rounding to the stretch turn and, under pressure, moved up fast and disposed of the leaders at the finish. MAROGAY raced prominently from the star atnd finished well. HAPPY LARK stumbled at the break, recovered quickly and then tired from early efforts in the final drive. LADY WATERLOO finished well. VERSE was slow to start and closed ground steadily. ABOYNE came over sharply from the outside going to the far turn. PARK BENCH finished fast. DON BINGO II. had no mishaps. HOW COME had a flash of early speed. WISE NIECE could not keep up. PRINCE A. O. was outrun. LAWYERS LIGHT was caught in close quarters going to the far turn and fell and CAPT. CAUTION fell over him. NAVIGATING raced true and displayed speed throughout and, through the final eighth, she was under hand "urging to hold DRIVEN SNOW safe. The latter, a prominent factor all the way, was under pressure in the final drive, but could not overhaul the winner. NOW MANDY was kept forwardly from the start and had no mishaps. OPTIMISM came through on the inside in the final eighth and finished well. TRINGLE showed a good effort while racing straight. HURIETTE had no mishaps. POLLY BRIAR raced evenly throughout. NAVAL RESERVE was steered to the outside entering the stretch and finished well. THE FINEST slipped through on the inside in the stretch and closed well to finish in a dead heat with PORTERS CAP. The latter came to the outside for the stretch run. TWO TON TONY had a flash of early speed. VINTAGE PORT was unable to improve position in the late stages. CURWEN was well up throughout and had no mishaps. ONE SHEN raced evenly. HI STRANGER lacked speed and was never a factor. KENS POP had early speed, but quit.
