McCue Training Public String COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 18. W. L. "Duke" McCue, who lost his entire stable of six horses, together with all of his traps in the fire which preceded the opening of Beulah s meeting, is back in the business in a big way. Duke is training the Pink Elephant Stable, owned by Pat Connolly, of Columbus, which includes Whit, a winner at this meeting; also Midair and Majestic, who were purchased from the Le Mar Stock Farm; Flying Stripes and Boonesboro, also Impeccable, purchased from the Woolford Stock Farm, are jother members of the Pink Elephant Stable. In addition, McCue is training Ashbysburg, a three-year-old, for J. Sanetta, of Cleveland. Ashbysburg is a brother to Roman Whistler and was purchased from Tom Cromwell, of Lexington, Ky.
