i Balaski Will Ride at Major Chicago Tracks This Season CRETE, 111., May 18. Lester Balaski, long ranked among the countrys most able jockeys, arrived here several days ago and will be seen in action at all of the major Chicago tracks during the season. Balaski scaled about 113 pounds with the opening of the Lincoln Fields meeting, but hopes to tip the beam at a lighter figure within x a short time. Balaski, who is 27 years of age, has been riding for eleven years, during which time the horses he has brought to the finish line in front of their fields accounted for almost one million dollars in purse money.
