PATRON SAINT, restrained until the last half, moved up stoutly on the outside, took command, opened up a good lead into the stretch and was never threatened to the end. FLYING SILYER. outrun early, moved up steadily when called upon and finished with good energy. STAR BOARDER moved up gradually through the back stretch, but was unable t« eo along with the leaders during the closing drive and just lasted to hold SUN GALOMAR. The latter was a forward factor the entire trip. TROON was unable to close anv ground during the last quarter. SPARROW CHIRP was outrun. CALCUTTA had brief earlv speed. VICTORY BLUE went prominently all the way and held on willinely to the close. CAVATORTA finished willinely. YALDINA CRAFT, reserved back of the pace until the last quarter, moved up stoutly on the inside, was closing in stubborn fashion when Dattilo raced into close quarters and had to tike up. HORNBLENDE iorced the early pace, but tired during the last three-sixteenths. HIGH NAME was unable to enter into serious contention. ARROW ROCK was far back throughout. SMART LOOKIN. quickest to begin, was taken under slight restraint when VIETTA and IN VOGUE went out to dispute the lead, responded gamely to hard riding through the stretch, wore down VIETTA and had enouzh left to hold SEA REIGH safe. The latter, slow to settle into her best stride, moved up on the inside entering the stretch and finished in determined fashion. VIETTA was sent into the lead in the opening strides, met early opposition from IN VOGUE, disposed of her, drew clear, but tired nciring the close. EVELYN ROLLS closed some ground, although unable to endanger the leaders. SANOJ was unable to threaten. IN VOGUE faltered in the last three-sixteenths.
