Bury Announces Purse Range for Toledo Meet Each of Eight Daily Events Will Be From 00 to 00 in Value TOLEDO, Ohio, June 19.— Eugene Bury, racing secretary of the Toledo Jockey Club, announced here today that purses for the 19-day meeting of that association opening here on Saturday, June 26, will range between 00 and 00, exclusive of special events which might be arranged after the session is under way. Each program will consist of eight events with week-day activities starting at 4:30 p. m. while racing on Saturdays and July 5 will commence two hours earlier. The Fort Miami Track, one of the finest in this state, is in complete readiness for the return of the running of thoroughbreds and local interest is such that officials of the Jockey club believe the short revival session will be a success. Bury said that more than 400 stalls are available and that he believes that each will be occupied by the time opening day is at hand. He is accepting requests for such accommodations and horsemen who have not forwarded stall requirements should do so at once. Among other members of the racing staff already engaged are E. W. Stribling, George* Palmer and Gordon Palmer.
