Sportsman Killed in Action Special Correspondence DUBLIN, Ireland. — Irish racing suffered a loss in 1942 in the death on active service of flying officer Bryan Rogers. He was a son of the Anglo-Irish trainer, J. T. "Jack" Rogers of Crotanstown, Curragh, County JKildare. On the death of his father, Bryan | carried on as trainer at Crotanstown, and j he achieved much success. In his younger days he was a capable amateur rider and ! all-round sportsman, being a good crick-! eter and hockey player. He also made flying one of his pastimes.
