Lt. Houghton Visits Home DALLAS, Texas, June 19.— Lt. Edward Haughton, Jr., of the Army Air Force, recently commissioned at Moore Field, Mission, Texas, was home for a few days before being assigned to duty. The son of Edward Haughton, trainer for Ben Whit-aker, young Haughton is well known on the turf. Lieutenant Haughton spent a few days at his fathers thoroughbred nursery at Little Elm, Texas. He hoped Australia would be his destination, for he wants to see some of the Australian horses in action. "I really starved for racing news down there in the Rio Grande Valley, but enjoyed the job of winning a commission," lie said.
