Aletern Bruises Foot STICKNEY, III., June 19.— A. C. Ernsts Aletern was withdrawn from todays running of the Lincoln Handicap for which he was a pronounced favorite, when he bruised a foot this morning at Hawthorne. The colt hurt himself during a short breeze in preparation for this afternoons assignment. The extent of his injury will not be known until some hours have elapsed, but immediately it was not believed to be of a serious nature.
