EDEMGEE showed improvement in the going, but was no match for the winner DAWN ATTACK, outrun early, closed well and may have been closer had his rider not been forced to steady him when in close quarters on the inside of OKAPI LANCER at the furlong post. The latter weakened after attempting to race with the winner early. SHAKO weakened. GOODROB apparently did not like the footing. HE ROLLS was outrun. HAWKWOOD ARESS, rated while setting the pace, weakened when displaced. BUR-MARK showed an even race. TETTINGTON quit. MILLY C. was pinched back at once and showed a miserable race.
