Believes in Playing Square DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 22. Albert La Franc of Avondale, Pa., believed in playing square with Delaware Park because a year ago the racing association paid him .10 on a winning ticket he misplaced in 1944. Here is the story: Two years ago Mr. La Franc filed claim for .10, stating that he had lost his pari-mutuel ticket. After a lapse of one year the Delaware Steeplechase and Race Association found that the amount was still outstanding, so paid the Avondale man his .10. Recently Mr. La Franc found the valued ticket and lost no time returning it to the association with the note that he had been previously paid off.
