UP FRONT established a commanding lead approaching the stretch and withstood a brisk drive to hold KAMPS REWARD safe. The latter, outrun the first half mile, came to the inside entering the stretch and, responding to punishment, closed strongly and was getting to the winner at the finish. GAL ANN, away fast, raced evenly to the stretch, then finished fast under punishment. CADENCE moved up stoutly in the first half mile and responded well when roused for the drive, but was unable to reach the leaders. OMPALO gave .way after racing prominently to the stretch. HI HENRY was outrun. FOUR TENS began sluggishly. GIANT PRINCESS had a rough trip. BROWN MATE failed to stay after showing early speed ROTATE could not keep up. UNCLE OTHO assumed command early, made the pace to the stretch under good handling and, responding to punishment when roused for the drive, lasted to hold LITTLE MILLY. The latter, on the outside but never far back, came gamely when hard ridden during the final quarter, but could not get to the winner. ARIELITA, a keen factor from the start, held on willingly in a good effort. VALDINA AIDE, on the outside to the stretch, could not better his position when roused for the drive. FAIR SAND, outrun early, finished well. BOBS DREAM began slowly. LEOS BRANDY was done early. JUNE T. had early speed. MARCHON was outrun throughout. BULL WEED, never far back and splendidly handled, moved to the front on the inside entering the stretch, then withstood a brisk drive to retain his advantage over HOLLYMAN. The latter, a keen factor from the start, came out slightly on the final turn and, finishing strongly under vigorous urging, was getting to the winner at the end. GUEYDAN, outrun early, closed willingly under punishment. CINESAR held on well to the final furlong, then weakened. RED CANTER began slowly. PRIVATE JOE assumed command early, made the pace to the stretch, then bore out badly, losing all chance. PRINCE MISTAKE was outrun. FINAL GLORY never entered serious contention. FOREST KING, a sharp factor from the beginning, stumbled when moving up in the stretch and impeded MONEY KING, then held the latter safe, but was disqualified for fouling and placed second. MONEY KING, never far back, was going stoutly when bumped by FOREST KING, then finished resolutely. MONEY KING was placed first after FOREST KING was jet back for fouling. PORTERFIELD, slow to begin and badly outrun to the stretch, finished fast. LADY WELCH went to the front early and made the pace to the final furlong, then faltered. MENEVER held on well In a sharp effort. HIGH HOPE was outrun. N0NCHALANTA tired. CHANCE DANCE was never dangerous. SHOW was far back throughout. BE A BEE was done early. RICH SWEEP had a rough trip. TWEETS BOY assumed command before going three-sixteenths, held on well to the stretch, then gave way to the eventual winner, but held on gamely to best the others. COSMIC BOMB raced evenly without mishap. MILKWAG0NJ0E, on the outside, raced evenly in a good effort and had no mishap. JET PILOT had speed to the upper turn, then faltered. GABLESTOWN gave a good effort. EDUCATION failed to stay after showing early speed and drifted out entering the stretch. JETT-JETT was outrun. PREOCCUPY, on the inside from the beginning, never entered serious contention. PAPPYS PRIDE was overmatched. BOBS BIRTHDAY could not keep up. CHICALMO was far back throughout. SEA SNACK, never far back, swerved to the inside when subjected to punishment in the stretch, was ridden close to BEAUGAY during the drive and, after taking command, held the latter safe. A claim of foul by BEAUGAYS rider against the winner was not allowed by the stewards. BEAUGAY went to the front early, was eased back while saving ground to the stretch and, taken to the inside fo SEA SNACK during the last three-sixteenths, was unable to overhaul the latter. ROMAN BELLE, slow to reach best stride and far back early, closed fast under punishment. FIRST PAGE worked way forward steadily, finishing well in a good effort. BUZZAROUND could not get to the leaders when set down for the drive. MAUD LEE, in close quarters throughout, could not threaten when clear nearing the finish. ME AGAIN lacked early speed. FORGETMENOW was done after three furlongs. PLUCKY MAID reached the lead approaching the stretch, but had nothing left for the drive. BOGLE was outrun. ARIEL SONG never was prominent. BABY GOLD, outrun early, closed fast. JACALITOS, on the outside from the start, could not threaten. MISS BOBOLINK was outrun. MAXIEKIN had early speed. SPOON BREAD could not keep up.
