PARTIDO, always a forward factor, forged into a commanding lead rapidly after a half and won as rider pleased. EASY CHAIR, away tardily and slow to settle into stride, moved into contention with a rush rounding the turn, but was no match for the winner; BROTHER DEAR closed willingly through the stretch. AMPERAGE faltered in the drive. SIR ECHO caught tired horses. CAESAR B. showed little. LINZA came back decidedly lame. BLACK GRIP was through early. OUR DAMSEL set the pace under a well-judged ride and lasted under pressure. ANAMOSA, steadied when unable to assume the early lead, rallied through the stretch, but hung slightly after reaching the leader. CHEESESTRAW dropped far out of contention early, rallied boldly, but could not overtake the leader. HEARTS ENTWINE raced nearest the leader early and weakened. FREE DUCHESS was not good enough. SARALEE C. set the pace to the furlong pole and faltered. CAT LUCK was always prominent, but was not good enough. BUZZ BOMB had early speed, but was through after three furlongs. RINGTHEBELL showed nothing. TRUE DREAM was rushed into contention after breaking fast, then was shuffled back leaving the backstretch. CYPHER RAN OFF SEVEN FURLONGS AFTER UNSEATING HIS RIDER DURING THE POST PARADE AND WAS ORDERED SCRATCHED. ALL MONEY WAS REFUNDED. MITYME assumed command soon after the beginning, was steadied while holding a narrow advantage, drew clear slightly in the stretch, but was ridden out while tiring slightly at the finish. ROYAL GOVERNOR drove through on the inside of MITYME to challenge early, showed a game race, but was not good enough. VACANCE raced on the inside throughout and failed to rally. The latter, unhurried while sluggish early, was well" handled when roused, but failed to respond until too late. LOVEMENOW assumed command while still under restraint, held sway to the stretch, then weakened when displaced. SCHOOL TIE raced forwardly placed on the inside, but was not good enough.
