Won driving; second and third the same. EASY RHYTHM was steadied within reach of the early leaders, moved around on the outside on the final turn when roused and drew out under pressure. AUNT DRUM was a forward factor from the beginning, saved ground and held on well. MR. R. S. had speed to take command at once and was steadied in front, but went slightly wide entering the stretch. WAR TRAIN raced evenly, but was unable to improve his position. K0K0 G. could not reach contention. EYEFUL could not keep up. INVERETTE, steadied close to the early pace, moved into command on the final turn and drew clear, but had to be sharply roused to hold GIANT DRIFT safe. The latter, never far back, was bothered slightly by JUDY DUNN in passing in the stretch and just failed to get up. JUDY DUNN took command early, gave way to the winner when challenged and weakened. VERNON MISS made up some ground from a slow beginning. LYTTA-JANE raced evenly, but could not threaten. FLYING GIANT was unable to improve his position at any stage in a dull effort. TANGOWER LEE was sent to the front after a quarter, was steadied there while racing before REVIEW and drew away from the latter in the drive. REVIEW was rated lapped on the winner in the lead and held on stubbornly under pressure. VEGAS JIM, in close quarters on the inside early, finished well, but could not threaten. GOLD CALL was steadied in a forward position early, but flattened out wher called upon. SKYWAVE could not engage the leaders. GOLD PROXY dwelt when the start came. POLITICS trailed in a dull effort. SHE DIDNT had speed to take a short lead, drew clear in the backstretch, but went slightly wide entering the stretch, then continued gamely. VICTORY BLUE had early speed and raced forwardly throughout. TONY 6. raced with the leaders early, but weakened slightly. ILEFETCHIT raced evenly behind horses, but could not threaten. WELL WISHER, forwardly placed from the beginning, took a brief lead in the backstretch, then gave way to the winner, but held on well. STUDIO PLAY lacked speed to match the early leaders and closed well, but was not dangerous. KENTUCKY SON had early speed, but gave way gradually. LITECO could not keep up. PETSOME was steadied closest to the pace of STATIC, went to the front readily on the far turn, drew clear, but was under pressure to hold SAND STORM safe. The latter was unhurried early, moved into closer contention on the final turn, swung to the outside for the drive and finished strongly. POMPS GAL was under strong restraint from the beginning, was sent around the outside entering the stretch and finished fast without being extended. LIGHTF00T LADY raced evenly and forwardly and held on well. CLARA JEAN, sluggish early, made a feeble bid on the turn, but was not dangerous. STATIC had speed to set the early pace, but quit. ALAN F. opened up a clear lead immediately after the start, was not hurried when HALF PINT was sent to the front in the backstretch, then came again and was up under hard urging. HALF PINT, a stout factor from the beginning, was sent to the front in the backstretch, was placed to stiff punishment on the turn and just failed to last under continuous punishment. ATOKA LAD raced evenly and forwardly, but could not threaten the first two. SWELL CHANCE finished well from a slow beginning, but was not dangerous. WAR ATLAS could not keep up. The latter was steadied in a forward position, disposed of AGRARIAN SON to take a clear lead in the stretch and held on stubbornly under his weight. STELL, a forward factor from the beginning, held on well. FOUR TENS finished fast from a slow beginning. SEAPAR moved into closer contention in the backstretch, but flattened out. AGRARIAN SON was sent into a clear lead and was steadied in front, but quit. DEVILS ISLAND was done early. Overweight— Seapar, 4 pounds. Jodas Joe claimed by W. T. Beezley. Walloon claimed by Mrs. S.
