Illinois Notes SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicerq, 111., May 6. Apprentice A. DeYoung, who was injured in a spill here last week, has been released from the hospital. Owner-trainer B. Johnson checked in from Phoenix, Ariz., and registered Doras Son. Jockey W. Prehm joined the local riding colony. He came from Boston and will ride free lance. Jockey J. W. Martin departed for Kentucky, where he plans to affiliate with a racing stable. • FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., May 6. Danny Ryan, local horseman, now has his stable of four horses here. The Ryan band is made up of Drake, Whiteford Irma, Marvel Play and Golden Harvest Golden Harvest and Whiteford Irma campaigned at Phoenix during the past winter, while Drake and Marvel Play were turned out. Blitzen Boy, two-year-old champion of Mexico City, is expected here shortly in the care of Trainer Al Summerlin. Stall space has been approved for the trio trained by Jimmy Hikes, consisting of Gay and Light, Devils Music and Bergo-lator. Bob Fields checked in with his consistent mare Lucky M. Bob stated that his charge had been turned out during the winter months but that she would probably be ready for the races here this spring. Jockey Melvin Duhon arrived from his home in Orange, Texas, and plans to resume riding soon.
