Pimlico Ladies Race Draws Seven Certain Starters PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 6. — Seven certain starters are scheduled for the Pimlico Ladies race to be run tomorrow at 11 oclock. The riders entered to date are Rita Marzani, Joyce Goldschmidt, M. Phyllis Lose, Barbara Kees, Betty Cox, Sue Spayde and Judy Johnson. Stewards for the race will be Mrs. Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt, Mrs. Henry A. Parr in. and Mrs. John O. Needles. Mrs. Vanderbilt will also make the presentation of the piece of plate to the winner. Trainer Judy Johnson, who is a licensed steeplechase rider, has ridden in three previous Pimlico ladies races and has placed in each contest. This year she hopes to break the jinx and take top honors for a change.
