Seven Hearts Top Member of 20-Horse Brown Hotel String at Arlington Park Louisville Owner Also Has 4 Twelve Yearlings, Eleven Weanlings at Ky. Farm LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 26. J. Graham Brown, who maintains the Brown Hotel Farm and racing stable, recently inspected the breeding stock quartered at his thoroughbred nursery and many of the Brown homebreds make excellent appearances. Other than the horses quartered at the Brown farm, 20 members of the stable are now in training at Arlington Park under the supervision of Tom Hill, well-known Kentucky turfman. Included in the group at the Illinois course is the well-conformed stakes performer, Seven Hearts, aged son of Grand Slam and Lovie. The Brown Hotel stable star has made periodic trips here for stud duty and he was recently put back in training after serving a full season at the Brown breeding establishment. Should Seven Hearts show the same form that he displayed during the winter at the New Orleans Fair Grounds he undoubtedly will be under silks in several important Arlington Park and Washington Park fixtures. Also at Arlington are the following thoroughbreds: Double Slam, the speedy Tidy Sum, Lazy Shoes, Andys Sis, Balladon, Ever Lucky, Cockcrow, Christmas Date, Marketing, Saint Nicholas, Dorsey, New Look, Gay Henrietta, Grand Barter, Hoot Mon, Jetrose, Brownstown, Oakmuir and Sparkle Ever. Jetrose, Brownstown and Hoot Mon are juveniles of top class and have compiled good records during their brief racing careers. Yearlings at the Brown Hotel farm are a chestnut colt by War Jeep Ill Go Far: chestnut colt, the get of Seven Hearts Meadow Lark; chestnut colt, by Bimelech Miss Glamour; brown filly, by Seven Hearts Greetings All; bay colt, by Seven Hearts Courtesy First; chestnut filly, by Seven Hearts Grace K.; bay filly, by Seven Hearts Check Girl; chestnut colt, by Seven Hearts Tonys Tomboy; chestnut colt, by Seven Hearts Trustee; bay colt, by Grand Slam Queens Best; black filly, by Petrose Royal Purple, and a bay filly, the get of Petrose and Valdina Sis. Weanlings at the Lexington County breeding farm are a likely looking lot and eight of them "were sired by Seven Hearts, a bay filly from Santa; chestnut filly, Greetings All; chestnut filly, Grace K.: bay colt, Dont Disturb, and a bay colt from Ill Go Far. Other weanlings are a chestnut filly by Equifox Star o East; a bay colt sired by Market Wise and from Meadow Lark, and a bay colt, the get of Easy Mon and Miss Glamour. Owner Brown, prominent in the affairs of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Breeders Association, is contemplating many improvements at his farm and he plans to augment his present stable as his homebreds reach racing age. Several of his active campaigners that have established good records were foaled at the Brown Hotel Farm.
