Litzenberg Earns His Third Special Award at Detroit FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., June 26. Jockey Walter Litzenberg, leading rider at the Motor City course, won the current 00 jockey award given by the Detroit Racing Association every 10 days. Litzenberg scored 79 points to .take down his third bonus in three contests. William M. Cook received second money of 00 with 71 points and the apprentice, Charles Pennock, who finished third with 40 points, received 00. In the trainers division, Stanley Lipiec nosed out Lawrence Kidd and earned the 00 prize with 33 points. Kidd had 32 points and received 00 while Henry Forrest finished third with 28 points and won 00.
