Profitable for Jockey Club SYDNEY, Australia, June 26. Reuters. When Drummer Boy won a race at Randwick today, the Australian Jockey Club collected half of the ,740 purse. This is because Drummer Boy and Conductor, owned by Herman Singer, who is under a year suspension are allowed to be raced by trainer J. W. Cook on lease trom the owner, but the Jockey Club imposed the condition that a portion of any prize money should be retained by the club. The total earned by the club from the two horses since the disqualification of the owner Is now ,000.
