OFF AT 6:03 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. HUSKER, slow to settle in best stride, was forcea to lose ground while improving position leaving the backstretch, came between horses to enter contention in the early stretch and wore down SILKANDSATIN in the final strides. The latter was forwardly placed from the start, came through on the inside to assume the lead entering the stretch and just failed to resist the winner. GRAY MAR VIC improved her position gradually to force the pace entering the stretch, but was not good enough. FLEETY QUEEN disposed of VOGTS FIRST to assume command leaving the backstretch, but gave way badly in the final furlong. EMILIE STRAUS saved ground throughout. LITTLE CASSINO failed to rally. VOGTS FIRST quit badly in the- final quarter mile. Scratched 50902 Pemboy, 106. Overweight Husker, 3 pounds; Silkandsatin, 3; Emilie Straus, 3; Little Cassino, 4.
