Delaware Notes DELAWARE PARK, Stanton Del., June 26. Mrs. Marion duPont Scotts War Story, surprise winner in yesterdays third race at 2.20 for , has been shipped by trainer Ray Woolf to the Montpelier Farm at Montpelier Station, Va. Misfortune struck in .the Yancy Christmas stable when the promising Rough Swallow "popped a knee." Rough Swallow and Merry Pass were vanned to the Christmas farm at Upper Marlboro, Md., where they will be turned out. Trainer Charley Shaw announced that several members of the Cedar Farm string are for sale. To make room for young stock, Shaw will reduce the Cedar Farm stable considerably prior to shipping to Saratoga following the Havre de Grace meeting, which opens a week from Tuesday. Paul Keiper, who has been riding well locally, has been engaged to handle Crispin Oglebays Noble Impulse in the Dover Stakes on Wednesday. Jockey Johnny Breen will ride Gortright Wetherills Raise You in the Colleen Stakes at Monmouth Park on Monday, July 5, and William F. Hitts Gala Man in the local Dover Stakes.
