WOODFORD SIR went to the front soon after the start, steadily increased his advantage without urging and won with something left. GLAEMEL, never far back, was unable to threaten the winner, but easily bested the QthrJ. WICKERS WISH could not better her position when set down for the stretch run. ENCHANTING was Wltrurt. FIGHTING PETE racd prominently to the stretch, then weakened. WONDER WHY began fast, but could nfll keep up. UPSTATE was never a serious factor. FANT0M VENTURE was far back throughout. CRACK TIME, away slowly, steadily worked his way forward until reaching the stretch, was sent to the middle of the track for the drive and, finishing fast under urging, disposed of the leaders to win going away. VISTA ALEGRE, much used engaging FLORIZAN ACE to the last furlong, could not withstand the winner. FLORIZAN ACE raced with VISTA ALEGRE to the final furlong, then faltered. RIGHT HAPPY could not get to the leaders when set down during the drive. PADDYGOEASY was outrun. PAULAS STAR tired. IMAGE OF LOVE showed nothing. STELLA SNYDER was done after racing prominently to the upper turn. Overweight Stella Snyder, 5 pounds. Attendance, 10,609; Total Mutuel Pool, 35,640. NINTH RACE SUBSTITUTE DECLARED dFF
