-Miss Betty Clouser Wins Race for Lady Riders PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 11.— The Maryland Jockey Clubs annual ladies race was presented here this morning, with Miss Betty Clouser, astride Mrs. George Fox Real Wren, getting credit for a front-running victory. Miss Betty Cox was second astride Equine Opera, while Miss Barbara Kees was third, atop Fire Trap. Mrs. Gray Johnson Poole, an attache of the publicity department, again filled the position of racing secretary for a day, and arranged a well-balanced one-race program. Following is the list of officials: stewards, Mrs. F. Ambonsal and Mrs. C. W. Williams; starter, Miss Rhoda Christmas, assisted by Eddie Blind; paddock judge, J. T. Skinner, Jr.; placing judges, Henry Clark, Dick Carter and Yancey Christmas; announcer Miss Laura Douglas.
