Bill Would License Bookmakers SPRINGFIELD, 111., May 11.— A bill to license Chicago bookmakers was introduced yesterday by Sen. C. C. Wimbish, of Chicago. The measure proposes to license bookmakers with any fee deemed desirable, the revenue to be divided equally between the city corporate fund and the Chicago schools. Wimbishs bill is similar to th« measure which was passed in 1935 U license Chicago bookmakers, but which wa» vetoed by the late Gov. Henry Horner.
