VICTOR NANCE went to the front on the near turn while on the outside and, after disposing of TOLECA inside the stretch, drew out under pressure. TOLECA gave way to the winner when straightened out for the stretch run, but held on gamely to prevail over the others. SUN GALLAHAD closed a gap, but was not good enough. TWEEN MEALS tired under punishment. DID PLAY was through early. FLY MENOW dwelt at the start, losing all chance. Scratched— 52910 Coiffeur, 100. IRISH DAUGHTER, never far back, responded gamely when called upon for her best effort and, after taking command, increased her advantage when ridden out. LASTING WAY finished determinedly between horses, but could not get to the winner. LUCKY DOG showed speed, as usual, but failed to stay. KALIMERA raced evenly from the three-furlong marker to the stands while drifting out. OMADHAUN failed to enter serious contention. BEIRUT began sluggishly. END ZONE showed nothing. MERRY ZAC took command immediately, made the pace to the stretch under steady rating and won with speed to spare. WEE MISTRESS was taken back from the early pace after a quarter, responded readily when shaken up for the stretch run and finished gamely. FIFTEENTH failed to make up appreciable ground when set down for the final test. IMPERSONATOR began slowly, rushed into contention while on the outside, then tired under punishment. PETROSE GIRL was outrun. ANGLING lacked his usual speed. LONGTIDE tired after racing forwardly for half a mile. LITTLE BIMBI propped at the break and quit after showing early speed. BOAT MAN was slow to reach his best stride, but finished resolutely when set down for the final test. BELLBROOK moved up boldly on the outside on the far turn, but lacked a closing rally. DOUBLE FEATURE raced within striking distance in the eraly stages, moved strongly around horses entering the stretch and, finishing on the extreme outside, was drawing out at the finish. WARMELIA raced on the outside of horses early, took command after going a half, held on determinedly, but could not hold the winner. PINK CHANCE lacked early speed, then closed with a rush. DUCK BERRY saved ground throughout and had no excuse. JUSTASNACK flashed early speed, then tired. QUINTERO showed a dull effort. Duck Berry claimed by Bensinger and Miller. TRY IKE got to the lead soon after the break, lead for a half, but had Ititle left in the final stages, a TEAPOY was outrun.
