HASHER, steadied while improving position gradually, found racing room between horses when put to pressure, overtook the leaders and drew out under urging. SAM N0RRIS, never far off the pace, rallied when put to a drive, closed well, but was drifting out. DEVOTEDLY opened a long lead at once, was allowed to set a rapid pace, then shortened stride and was tiring. OSCULORIA saved ground to no avail. FOXIE TED passed tiring horses. NENE POBRE showed nothing. BE PROUD weakened in the late stages. MARSEILLES, slow to begin, passed tiring horses. CAMBRIDGE FAIR went evenly. DOLOMITE had speed for a half. DESPITE, taken in hand early and steadied while settling into best stride, moved readily when set down, came up on the outside of the pace and responded to pressure to outfinish KANKEEKEE. The latter forced the pace from the start, was given a breather on the far turn, rallied when roused and finished willingly. GILA WATER, never far off the pace, moved menacingly when straightened for the drive, but faltered in the final yards. NIGHT CRAWLER opened a long lead at once, was steadied to the far turn, then tired when roused. CUNNING went evenly. The others were never prominent. GEORGES GIRL, never far off the pace, closed willingly under steady urging. MISS MELISS was rushed on the outside to draw close *o the leader on the turn, then swerved sharply to the inside entering the stretch. JUDYS RUNNER was unable to make up appreciable ground. GERTIES LAST, quickest to begin, showed speed while kept along the inside, but tired slightly near the end. ETERNAL SICKLE was unable to keep up. HI-SENORITA, steadied along the inside within striking distance of the pace, was taken to the middle of the track for the drive, caught the leader inside the final furlong pole and drew out easily. GOLDFIELD moved past the leader before the half was reached, drew into a comfortable lead, but had nothing left when challenged. LOOT went wide while making a mild challenge. GAY COURIER, slow to settle into best stride, raced very wide throughout WILY was used up forcing the pace ESS JAY ESS was through early. PINK TIGHTS showed nothing. SHAFFIE, well placed from the outset, was taken up sharply rounding the far turn, recovered quickly and came again under pressure. TIME ROLL forced the pace and challenged mildly in the final furlong before tiring. JOE OLSAN was unable to make up appreciable ground under a drive. MINT OMORN was unable to keep up. SHAKO, hustled early to get within striking distance of the leader, moved readily along the inside on the final turn, was unable to secure racing room, then rallied when clear to outfinish LOOKOUT DICE. The latter was well up throughout, came to the outside of the leader making the final turn, assumed a short lead, but was unable to stave off the winners bid. . ORANGE SUN, taken in hand when unable to run with the leaders, rallied mildly in the final stages. PLAY TAG came from far off the pace in a belated rally. SUPPER DATE showed nothing. NEAR MISS, in hand while improving position steadily on the outside, rallied to take command entering the stretch, was under steady pressure and drew out gradually to the end. ALANAY assumed command soon after the start, was steadied while setting the pace, then held on gamely under strong pressure. DEVIL DUST, taken back and steadied off the pace to the final quarter, finished with a belated rush on the outside. GOLDBART had no mishap.. HERBO passed tiring horses. STRIDE WELL was hustled early, cut across the field, but was unable to gain the lead, yet remaining in close attendance of the leader to the final turn, then tired. LENNIE BOY flashed brief speed. OLIO worked his way up along the inside to enter contention nearing the quarter pole, was taken in hand until an opening appeared, then drove to the front to outfinish WARRIOR PRINCE. The latter moved readily on the outside to gain a lead after six furlongs, was unable to draw clear but held on tenaciously under stout pressure.
