Lewis E. Waring Dies Suddenly NEW YORK, N. Y., May 20.— Lewis E. Waring, 77, chairman of the New Jersey Racing Commission since 1947, died suddenly today. He was stricken with a heart attack while on his way from the United Hunts Racing Association of f ice at 250 t Park Avenue to his residence on East 72nd street, New York City. Mr. Waring was president of the United Hunts and had been active in its affairs fortwenty years. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Margaret Haskell Waring, four sisters and three brothers. •
