Open West Virginia Hearings Of Ten Suspended Trainers CHARLES TOWN, W. Va., May 20.— An appeal to the West Virginia Racing Commission of 10 trainers under suspension on stimulation charges was opened at Charles Town today before commission chairman Beverley Broun and commissioners Frank Brooke and Mont M. Mcln-tire. Those appealing the six months suspensions meted out by the Charles Town stewards are Elsie S. Morris, James Stuart, G. W. Canard, J. E. Allison, Jr., Frank Lewis, W. J. Johnson, Victor P. Noyes, Norman L. Brown, King M. Boyd and Luther Wilson, most of whom are represented by James M. Mason, local attorney. Prosecuting attorney John C. Skinner has been appointed to represent the racing commission. Preliminary witnesses who discussed the procedure in -which _ urine tests were handled in the state "were state steward Andrew R. Winters and track veterinarian W. E. Trussell.
