Jolley and McAfee Check in At Detroit Fair Grounds PAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 23. — Tom Jolley, one-time riding star, checked in from Churchill Downs with Macks First, the property of Warner L. Jones, Jr., master of Hermitage Farm, and Free Gift, who will race here for Miss Ann Hines, prominent amateur steeplechase rider, of Nashville, Tenn. John G. McAtee, of Lexington, Ky., shipped in Wonder Who, Actnice, Beverly Burks, Limerick Boy, Regularity and Lady Serenata, a recent long-priced victress at the Kentucky Derby oval.
