AIR CURRENT— This veteran campaigner is training kindly and his return to competition was impressive. Appeared inj need of the race. ! DETROIT AUNT JAYNE Z.— Debutante Stakes winner is training satisfactorily for her Powder Puff Stakes engagement. MISS BOB — Ordinary maiden two-year-did filly gave a good effort in last start under poor handling and is due to graduate. EVA T. — Useful mare when dropped in with cheap rivals and may earn a purse during the current meeting. JOHNS JOY — Rapidly reaching peak form after his arduous Kentucky Derby prep. Worked mile in 1:40% handily. DACCORD — Quick two-year-old filly is working nicely for her racing debut and recently stepped five furlongs in 1:01%, handily. GIFT SCARF — Displayed high early speed in six furlongs sprint and belongs with cheaper grade platers. BLANK DISMAY— Weak ride cost the Ellis sprinter victory in last outing and capable of beating same class field. MACKS FIRST — Cut out for a good racer and is eligible to spot in three-year-old condition event. MAVTEW — Finished strongly in maiden filly juvenile dash and about ready for first visit to winners ring. WILMAR — Improves with racing and was narrowly beaten in recent ,000 class sprint. STAR REWARD — Manner in which he won the Grosse Pointe Handicap indicates that he can handle longer distances. COMPARE — Plenty of early speed but, has drifted out in recent engagements and will score now that education is completed. CATSMEOW — Headley sprinter has been close up in last two outings and due for early victory. LADY JO — Cheap but game three-year-old filly improves with racing. Should earn a purse during current meeting. LOVE SONNET— Hard-hitting middle distance performer gave excellent account of himself in Alger behind Shy Guy and in peak form. ARISE — Improved racer looked good in recent Frontier Stakes engagement and connections will find suitable spot for him. BELMONT PARK PESETA — Watch this filly as she was pitched too high last time out. Wants a field of three-year-old sprinters in the ,000 claiming bracket. BLUE W. — Has been in with top company in recent efforts and should find the right spot in next trip postward. MENEVER — No reason this one shouldnt, run right back to last two winning races and might be able to handle a little better class of horses. Tab at a mile and a furlong with ,000 to ,000 company. LE BUIS FLEURI— This jumper is going good now and with the expert training he is receiving there is no reason he should not make another visit to the winners circle. FIGHTING FOOL— Wait for this one to get an experienced rider as he has been improving with every race. Probably wants a sprint. PROMPTNESS — This youngster had a lot of trouble in his last start on the Widener Course. Tab right back in a field of maidens. POLLYS BOY — This colt appears to have found his winning stride as last performance was a corker with ,500 company. NAVY CHIEF — This youngster turned in Um fastest performance of the season in ► his winning race last week. Should be rated with the best two-year-old on the grounds. THWARTED — Pitched a little over his head in last try but still ran a good race. Will go either six furlongs or a mile. EAGLE EYE — Appeared as though he might have been a trifle short in his first start of the season. Tab right back with same company. APPLAUSE — No reason this one cant repeat with ,000 company over a distance of ground. TRICKY RICKI — This youngster was racing with the leaders in his first start when the rider lost his irons. DIAZ — Here is a three-year-old who seems to have found his last years form again. His race of last week indicated that he is ready to tackle better and will go either six furlongs or a mile. DELAWARE PARK ENDURABLE — Raced extremely well in local debut and seems certain to graduate in next start. FLEET ARGO — May have needed last race to attain peak form. Should beat non-winners at next asking. RETINTIN — Received a poorly judged ride in last and seems capable of beating the same field of 0,000 claimers. MIRTHMAKER— Was made much use of in the early stages of last, and may improve with a change of tactics, HASH NIGHT — Closed ground in recent race and needs a distance of ground for top performance. CEDAR BIRD— Last little more than gallop and suggested another victory, even if advanced to ,000. ROSE BLAINE — Turned in a clever effort last time out and may score at long odds. CRESSON MISS — Winning effort was a clever one, and a slight elevation in class should do no harm. SCOTCH DAISY— Had a bit of a rough trip in last and should beat non-winners of two other than maiden or claiming. CER VANTES — Last race was not a true indication of this ones capabilities. TED M. — Seems to have Wednesdays mile and a furlong Montchanin at his mercy. THIRD ACE — Could not cope with Wine List in recent engagement, but is capable of beating shifty three-year-olds. DONNA BOORSE — Forced wide in last, which may have cost her a share of the purse. NOKOMIS — Tired slightly in seasonal debut, but effort apparently helped considerably.. VALS KID — Won at first asking for new owner and may develop into a bargain claim. NARRAGANSETT PARK JOES GAL — Has been training smartly over the local oval and appears ready for a set of brackets. DIRECTOIRE— A change of track may be what this fellow needs. Has been displaying a high turn of speed in Suffolk sprints but tiring in the deep footing. GROUND FOG— Recent victory at Suffolk *in 1:10% stamps this Lovely Night gelding as fit as can fce. Should continue winning ways. CAMBRIDGE FAIR— A cheap sprinter who appears to be rounding to shape for a set of brackets. HER GIFT — Suffolk finale endorses the chances of this juvenile against non-winners. Should graduate in the near future. CHEVALIER— This fellow, was cut out to be a classy performer, but was plagued with a series of injuries during sophomore year. SUPPORT — Morning trials have been good enough to endorse the chances of this juvenile miss. NIGHT BOMBER— Appeared short in his last at Suffolk Downs. Should benefit off that effort and may prove hard to handle in cheap middle distance events. LANDN SEA — Is steadily rounding to peak form. Should not be too long in earning a set of brackets. PETER — May prove a bargain claim at ,500. Showed enough to suggest improvement when juvenile events are lengthened. OMAHA SWEET TOES— Has been close up in recent starts and should not be much longer in gracing the winners circle. RODEO ROSE — Promising juvenile raced creditably during Oaklawn Park session and should score at next asking. GABE — An ordinary claiming performer who closed resolutely in only effort here and should improve with additional racing. MANSOO — This youngster comes from a I well-trained stable and recent works would seem to indicate an early victory. COUNT MATTIER— Connections should find a suitable spot for this charge dur-early part of meeting. TOREADOR JO— A drop in classification is all that is needed to assure victory for this consistent plater. WONGERRA— Bolted when a certain winner in race last week and should make amends with better racing luck. CABBAGETOWN— Has shown a decided fondness for the local strip and should find a field to his liking in the near future. ANAESTHESIA — Disappointed at short odds last time when outrun during the early stages. Improvement can be expected. PATTIE M.— Well-bred juvenile has impressed the local dockers during her morning trials. EX PARTE— Campaigned creditably on the West Coast and is capable of defeating sprinters in the ,500-,000 claiming category. FINE FETTLE — Capable handicap charge was victim of poor handling in last trip postward and can do better. CINCINNATUS— -This fleet sprinter broke tardily in first effort here, losing all chance. BULLREVEAL— Maiden juvenile should improve with additional racing and an early triumph can be expected. DEEP RED— Appeared a trifle short last time out and should benefit greatly by that effort.
