Apprentice F. Lewis Able To Leave Jersey Hospital DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 4. — Freddy Lewis, leading apprentice rider of the Garden State Park meeting who suffered a back injury in a spill from Big Kay, has been released from the Cooper Hospital at Camden, N. J. The young booter suffered a chipped vetebrae and is wearing a cast. Trainer Tommy Heard, Jr., who holds a contract on Lewis, believes the rider will be back in action in six or eight weeks.
