NINETEEN FOUR, well placed from the beginning, went up between horses in the drive, was bothered slightly while moving to the lead and drew clear. SEGUNDO SOMBRA, within striking distance while saving ground, went up on the outside in the drive and closed willingly. DIVE BOMBER had no excuse. TRIER trailed until ready for the drive and caught tired horses. TRICKY DEAL weakened in the drive. AIR CURRENT took command briefly on the outside when called upon and faltered near the end.
