Riddles Farm in Maryland Up for Sale at 85,000 BERLIN, Md., May 12.— The late Samuel D. Riddles Glen Riddle Farm, the farm where Man o War and many other famous race horses which bore the Riddle silks were trained, has been placed on the market for 85,000. All the Riddle property, including Glen Riddle Farm in Pennsylvania and Mr. Riddles residence in Saratoga, N. Y., will be sold, according to the terms of his will, which leaves the bulk of his estate to charity. The 1,500-acre property near Ocean City fronts for three miles on inlets of Sinepuxent Bay, and adjoins the Ocean Downs Raceway. Many winning horses trained at Glen Riddle Farm, among them War Admiral, War Relic, American Flag, Scapa Flow, Crusader and Dress Parade. From 1919 to 1950, Riddle horses earned ,036,490 and won 518 races.
