WAR TORO, unable to keep up early, came to the outside entering the stretch, rallied under stout pressure and MS along to defeat MUSICAL LADY. The latter broke alertly, was kept out in the middle of the track to the final turn, moved to the inside and shortened stride quickly. KHYBER PASS closed well through the stretch. LEX had no Mishap. SHOE SHINE dropped far off the pace and was unable to threaten. SICKLE SUE tarried at the gate was sent up fast on the outside to near the leader, then tired. SUNNY SOUTH quit. FOUR CHANCES broke alertly, established a swift pace and held on well after giving way. DE LUXE, well placed and in hand, moved threateningly on the final turn, suddenly went wide, was straightened quickly, but was unable to make up lost ground. ALL AT ONCE fo.ced the pace while in hand and lacked a rally when put to pressure. ABSTRACT dropped far off the pace and was unable to menace BRICK went well for five furlongs before tiring.
