SUN JAY, unhurried when outrun early, drifted out on the final turn, recovered gamely and was up in the final stride to prevail over BETHS BOMB. The latter reached the lead entering the stretch and held on tenaciously in a sharp effort. MY GRACE moved up menacingly on the outside on the near turn, then weakened. MALI JOHNNY raced evenly through the stretch without mishap. PERT was between horses throughout. SLIEVEMISH was eliminated when in close quarters on the far turn. SIR JACOMAR hesitated at the start and lost all chance. LEAP0LIN0 was outrun. FLYING SANDY quit. ROTATE was through early.
