l I I Commission Rulings Reported to Daily Racing Form PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 12.— The Maryland Racing Commission has officially rescinded a ruling by the Bowie stewards depriving the horse M. Cork of the winners share of the purse in the eighth race on Thursday, May 3. The stewards had previously ordered the purse taken away from M. Corks owner because of the fact that the horse carried incorrect weight. Members of the commission rescinded the ruling following a hearing in the commission offices on Thursday, May 10. The original purse distribution now stands with M. Cork earning ,625; Sir Cross, 00; Four West, 50 and Woodmore, 25. PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 12. — Jockey agent Charles "Chick" Lang, who was suspended in connection with the Robert J. Martin case, Baltimore rider who was ruled off for 10 years by the Maryland Racing Commission last Thursday, has been reinstated by that body. Lang, son of the late riding great, was exonerated of any connection with the Martin case and is currently han- dling the riding engagements of Bobby Bauer. Lang was originally suspended pending an investigation.
