American-Owned Big Dipper Declares From Epsom Derby LONDON, England, May 12 Reuters. — Mrs. John Bryces American-owned Big Dipper was struck out of the Epsom Derby prospective line-up early today. The winter favorite for the Derby strained a ligament in March and had to be scratched from the Two Thousand Guineas. Mrs. Bryce still has a candidate in North Carolina, winner of the Sandown Park Trial stakes earlier this week. Roman Way carried Mrs. Bryces colors to victory in the Kempton Park Great Jubilee Handicap here today. He finished fast to beat Hyperbole and Misty Light in a finish of necks.
